I haven't been running in long distance events such as the Safari Zoo Run 2010, Passion Run and etc. Couple of reasons why I'm not gonna be taking part. Firstly, its gonna interfere with my short-distance trainings. You know, the training methods, muscles used and stuffs. Second, I cannot afford to pay to run. Haha.. Why can't it work another way? Like they pay me for running. Haha.. Anyway, I won't be involved in most of the long runs unless I am free or my coach allows it. And for the umpteenth time, I am NOT running in Adidas Sundown.
I have been running around 10-12km in the early morning, at around 3am. Kinda cool. The air is cold and crispy but at least, it contains lesser exhaust fumes! Haha.. Timing has improved by a few seconds but at least, its an improvement :) So I am wondering if the trajectory factors like the air temperature, the time of day actually affects one's timings. Haha.. Maybe it does. A little. But its still a mere progress. I always knew I was mad to run when everyone else is asleep so yes, this is rather consoling to know that at least I achieved something from my madness. I don't know. Maybe its the way the mind works. Like its a brand new day, you feel good and everything, even your running strides seemed to be bigger and lighter suddenly, your lungs are taking in more oxygen.. You feel that you're floating in the air with every step.. Okay, let's get back to Earth! Haha..
Try it when you're free. I think its a great way to start a morning too :)
